my handsome big brother maurice , I was so proud of you being in the war , dad in the army ron airforce Albert navy , . One my happy times is when you took me trainspotting you loved to write the numbers and names down .it was such an adventure being with you I use to look forward to our adventures . We went on a penny platform ticket all those years ago dear brother.to Nottingham. Another time is your large paper round on a freezing cold morning 6am before school you asked me to help I loved being with you so I did , the newsagent on the corner of Henley road , they threw the keys down to us we had to sort the numbers and addresses out it was hard but I was with you .This was a happy time just before christmas we would knock on our customers door from the paper round and say compliments of the season we would get sixpence half a crown and even pound notes , we gave it all to mum and it paid for our christmas dinner a goose mum was so pleased with us . Also you had your grocery round at good halls a bike with a basket on the front , they gave you bacon bits as a tip we all got to enjoy those crisp bacon bits yummy . Big brother I will never forget your wicked sense of humour we were still laughing after your gone l . You had a fabulous life on the island with your beloved mary and family truly above all a family man. Hod bless you my my dear brother until we meet again ps I loved you so xxxxxx
